Beyond (Don Yohn) – Rain Sleet Hell Snow...
XI Sounds
$19.00
1
A prime slice of mid-2000s underground hip-hop, released in 2005 on Xtra-Infinit / XI Sounds. The 12" is highly notable for its lead track, "Rain Sleet Hell Snow" (featuring Dot Kom), which is produced by legendary hip-hop beatmaker 9th Wonder. The rest of the EP is anchored by production from D.O.X., including a guest appearance by label-mate Brown James on the track "Up Top".
Packed with clean cuts and full instrumentals, this pressing is a classic, DJ-friendly utility record that highlights the soulful, boom-bap sound of the era.
