A standout underground hip-hop 12" released in 2004 via Xtra-Infinit. Anchoring the release is the soulful, R&B-infused lead track "Sugar," which features production from legendary beatmaker 9th Wonder alongside vocals by Najah. The rest of the EP is bolstered by solid mid-2000s boom-bap production from CockPit and label mainstay D.O.X.
Packed with clean edits, full instrumentals, and an acapella cut, this record is a highly versatile tool for vinyl-spinning DJs and a prime snapshot of independent hip-hop from the era.
